Crochet Drawstring Netted Pouch

I’ve been experimenting with a lot of different brand tags over the last couple years, since I first drew the Knitcroaddict logo idea on a loose piece of paper.

I found a really good supplier recently, and this crochet drawstring netted pouch was the perfect opportunity to try the new leather logo tabs out. I love it!

This bag is really beginner friendly and easy. It probably took me a couple of hours to make one start to finish. If you’re selling finished product, this is a great one to have in your inventory, particularly with the branding.

If you’d like the ad free, downloadable and printable PDF pattern for yourself, it can be purchased on my Etsy, Ravelry or Lovecrafts stores.

If you’re looking to dive into some more handbag projects and ideas, check out this Crochet Drawstring Pom Pom Bag tutorial for something simple. If you want to try your hand at a little more challenging bag, I recommend this 4 Seasons Crochet Purse pattern.

You can find the leather logo tabs on Etsy . I love supporting other Etsy sellers as well.

Hope you all enjoy, happy crocheting once again!

Round 6 : ch 4 ( count as 1 dc and 1 ch sp ), *sk next st, 1 dc into next st, ch 1* rep from *TO* around, sl st into the third ch. Total of 72 st including ch 1 sp

Drawstring ( Make 2 )

Note : For the drawstring, you can make it as long as you like, just make more ch when you start. Make sure both pieces are the same length.

ch 121, 1 sl st into second ch from hook and each ch across, cut the yarn and weave all the ends

Thread the drawstring into the bag at the side in round 18. Weave the drawstring through each loop all the way around the bag. We will repeat the same with the second drawstring starting from the opposite side so there are drawstrings placed evenly on both sides of the bag. Make sure that the drawstrings are at the sides of the bag, then tie a knot in the ends.

Congratulations! Nice work. I’d love to see everyone’s work. If you want to share with me, just tag me on IG or FB. Happy crocheting 🙂

Hi Helen, I really like the idea. So much that I’m going to make a quick pattern for you this week and post it on the blog, I think people would like that. Are you thinking the size for a bar of soap, or bigger? Thanks for the comment 😊🙏❤️
